Olivandro Extravirgin Olive Oil is produced without preservatives using mono-cultivar Moresca olives from Val Tellaro, Sicily. Its mild taste is reminiscent of almonds and green tomatoes. Olives are hand- picked directly from the trees shortly prior to ripening and are cold- pressed within 24 hours. The oil is kept in iron jars and sold in dark green bottles and 5 liters cane. Ideally is has to be stores in the dark, away from direct heat and sunlight, at about 5/14 degrees Celsius or 47/57 degrees Fahrenheit..
